How would you like a chance to represent Culver and Lake Maxinkuckee? You have an opportunity to do just that with the Visitor Center’s photo contest.
Officials from the Visitor Center are seeking a cover photo to use on their new residents’ packet. Executive Director Danielle Mavrick recently reached out to local residents click pictures and convert jpeg to raw for photo submissions.
In her announcement, she said the picture must be on Lake Maxinkuckee and it should feature people using canoes, kayaks or stand up boards. She explained that it must contain a blue sky as they’re not looking to use a photo with a sunset or sunrise.
Mavrick added that “bonus points” would be given if the photo also includes a family or a dog.
A $25 gift certificate for the Original Root Beer Stand will be given to the person whose photo is selected for the residents’ packet cover photo.
Executive Director Mavrick said they will be accepting photos through Friday of this week. Entries can be emailed to culverlakemaxinkuckeecenter@gmail.com
