As we approach the end of April, Knox officials are reminding residents of the City’s street sweeping policy that was updated last year.
Streets will be swept every third Tuesday of each month May through September. Certain residents within the city limits will need to have their vehicles moved off the streets between the hours of 4 a.m. and 8 a.m. on those dates.
The street sweeping route includes Shield, Main and Pearl Streets from Washington Street to Culver Road and Washington and Lake Streets from Heaton to Shield.
Those who do not comply with this policy will be penalized.
