The Winamac Town Council has a scheduled a special meeting for this afternoon.
The purpose of the special session will be to hear information regarding a 10-year plan for creating a splash pad/pool area.
The Winamac Park Board was authorized to start researching options for a splash pad when Town Council members met in March.
An update on what’s been discovered so far will be covered during today’s meeting in addition to the topic of potentially incorporating a pool into future plans.
The meeting will be held at 3 p.m. ET in the Winamac Municipal Utilities Complex.
