Eastern Pulaski School Board Hires Administrator Assistance to Help with Superintendent Selection

Following the official resignation of Dan Foster, the Eastern Pulaski School Board recently took action to get their superintendent selection process started.

Members approved contracts with the company Administrator Assistance when members met in a special session Monday night.

According to their website, Administrator Assistance was formed to provide solutions and guidance to schools in their day to day operations through a network of successful, retired school administrators.

The school board members approved two different items when they met this week.

One item was a contract that hired Administrator Assistance to assist with the superintendent’s search and another item permitted the company to establish someone in the interim superintendent’s position.

Dr. Gilbert “Gib” Crimmins, one of the founders of Administrator Assistance, was present at the meeting. He noted that he will be serving as the company’s representative in the interim superintendent’s position.

Crimmins has 34 years of education experience where he served as a math teacher, a coach, a building administrator and a superintendent.

Crimmins also introduced the board to Tom Austin Monday evening. Austin has 38 years of education experience and has assisted with several searches throughout the state. He will be leading Eastern Pulaski’s superintendent search.
