The City of Knox is seeking residents willing to provide a helping hand during July’s Family Fun Day and Fireworks Display.
The final planning meeting prior to the event on Saturday, July 6th will be held tonight at 6 p.m. at shelter #4 in Wythogan Park.
There are plenty of ways you can help out. For instance, they’ll need a few people to monitor the bounce houses as well individuals to help out at the gate in addition to some other volunteer tasks.
Knox Mayor’s Office Administrative Assistant Peggy Travis stated that sign up sheets for various duties will be available.
If you already intend to come to the event and you could spare some time to keep things running smoothly, attend tonight’s meeting to let officials know how you’re willing to help out.
If you have any questions prior to tonight’s meeting, call the Mayor’s office at 574-772-4553.
