The Pulaski County Commissioners have a new meeting location starting tonight. The commissioners and several other governing bodies will meet at the Pulaski County Highway Garage on U.S. 35 in Winamac for the foreseeable future.
It’s part of a larger relocation of county offices, to allow the Assessor’s and Surveyor’s offices to move out of the courthouse basement. Government meetings were held at the Highway Garage for much of last year, while the elevator was being replaced at the courthouse.
Tonight, the commissioners are scheduled to get an update from Sheriff Jeff Richwine and appoint representatives to the Pulaski County Public Library and Pulaski Memorial Hospital boards. Tonight’s Pulaski County Commissioners meeting starts at 6:00 EDT.
