Knox City Council members amended their agenda last Tuesday to include the consideration of a conflict of interest disclosure form.
Clerk-Treasurer Jeff Houston explained that it was uniform document related to work that it occasionally conducted by one of the city council members.
He noted, “We can either file this as a one time thing or a blanket one that will cover you for the whole year and this is for Arctic Air, that’s Don Kring’s company.”
Houston added the Arctic Air is periodically used for heating and air conditioning work for the city. He stated that other vendors are also utilized but often times Kring’s company is the most readily available.
Members cast a unanimous vote to approve the form.
