A report of a possible overdose led to the arrest of a North Judson woman Monday night. It happened around 8:30 p.m. at a home in the 7000 block of South County Road 100 West, according to the Starke County Sheriff’s Office.
Officers say Starke County EMTs provided medical treatment to a male subject. He was administered Narcan and taken to Starke Hospital.
Meanwhile, police say they got a search warrant for the home and as a result of what they found, arrested Tabitha Letson, 24, for maintaining a common nuisance, along with possession of heroin, a syringe, paraphernalia, and synthetic urine. Officers say Letson was held without bond, pending formal charges from the Starke County Prosecutor’s Office.
Police add that the man was not arrested at the scene because of his medical condition, but charges are pending.
