Pulaski County’s election computers are getting an upgrade.
Clerk JoLynn Behny told the rest of the election board Tuesday that equipment vendor MicroVote has collected the tower computer used during elections. “They are going to update it, if it’s updatable. If it’s not updatable, they’re going to replace it for free,” Behny explained.
She said she also plans to buy a new backup laptop, since MicroVote is offering them at-cost. The cost should be between $500 and $1,000, which is well within the amount budgeted this year for the purchase.
