Oregon-Davis students should be a bit safer, thanks to some area businesses. Superintendent Dr. Don Harman says a couple recent donations got the school board’s official approval Monday.
“1st Source donated reflectors for all of our elementary students, and we appreciate 1st Source’s partnership,” Harman explains. “We also had Monteith Tire Company also donate some reflectors for our students, so we really appreciate those two companies’ partnerships that we have.” The reflectors can be placed on students’ backpacks to make students more visible as they travel to and from school.
Harman says Oregon-Davis will also be getting two “stop the bleed” kits from the Starke County Health Department.
