The Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG) program will remain in place at the North Judson-San Pierre School Corporation.
When NJ-SP School Board members met Tuesday night, they considered a continued partnership commitment with the organization behind JAG, Northwest Indiana Workforce.
Superintendent Dr. Annette Zupin said the program was successful in its first year at NJ-SP and noted that it is a valuable resource to the students who now have certain requirements to meet under the new graduation pathways system.
Dr. Zupin added that it provides a good opportunity for building leadership skills.
She shared, “We had a young lady last year attend a state JAG conference and she emceed the whole scenario down there in Indianapolis and it was great, it was a great experience for her.”
Zupin stressed that no changes were made to the Memorandum of Understanding and board members approved the continued partnership with no objections.
