Hamlet residents are invited to get an update on the town’s comprehensive planning process this Thursday.
Back in May, residents had the chance to share what they liked about the town and what they thought was missing.
Since then, planners from HWC Engineering have been working with a local steering committee to put that information into a draft plan. Housing is one of the main issues being addressed, according to town officials.
The draft plan will be presented and residents will be able to offer feedback, during Thursday’s public presentation. It will be held at 6:00 p.m. CDT at the James R. Hardesty Fire Station and Community Center.
