Efforts are reportedly being made to address the code violations at the Super Value Inn in Knox.
When the Knox Board of Works met last Wednesday, Director of Building and Code Compliance Kenny Pfost addressed the property at 301 E. Danker Street, noting that noticeable improvements have been made recently.
Pfost explained, “There are 24 rooms, 5 of them are occupied and they’re going through each one and making the necessary repairs.” He continued, “They are trying to get it cleaned up. The outside is actually looking better than what it was.”
Mayor Dennis Estok asked if Pfost was satisfied with the progress that is being made and Pfost confirmed that he is. He also noted that he will continue to monitor the property to ensure that the violations continue to be addressed.
