Winamac officials are expected to hold a hearing over the 2020 budget when the Town Council meets tonight at 6 p.m. ET.
The council’s regular session will be held immediately following the adjournment of the hearing.
During that meeting, council members will receive updates about the water, street, wastewater, police and electric departments as well as reports from Clerk-Treasurer Melanie Berger and Town Manager Brad Zellers.
Under his report, Zellers will give a wastewater project update in addition to an IMPA report and Clerk-Treasurer Berger will discuss an ordinance to establish a DNR Grant as well as the Tax Refund Exchange and Compliance System (TRECS).
Both the hearing and the meeting will be held at the Winamac Utilities Complex.
