Officials from Starke County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) took to social media to warn drivers about slick roadways after responding to a three-vehicle accident Thursday afternoon.
Starke County Dispatch reports that the accident occurred shortly after 4 p.m. near the intersection of SR 8 and US 35. No injuries were reported.
In addition to Starke County EMS, responding agencies included the Knox-Center Township Fire Department, the Sheriff’s Department and an off-duty Knox City Police officer.

In the coming weeks, as weather conditions become more inclement, driving conditions will be more hazardous. Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously. Allow extra time when stopping, be mindful of your distance in relation to other vehicles and be sure to obey the posted speed limit.
