A Bruce Lake-area resident says the condition of a nearby property is hurting his property values. Now, he’s asking the Pulaski County Commissioners for help.
Joe Leneave told the commissioners Monday that a property within a half mile of his is “a big mess,” with race cars, tires, trailers that are falling down, and garbage blowing across the road. He blamed the property for a $10,000 drop in the appraised value of his home.
Leneave said he’s expressed concern for years, but the deed-holder of the property recently passed away. He said he’s contacted the Pulaski County Building Department, but so far, the issue hasn’t been resolved.
The commissioners offered to follow up with Building Inspector Doug Hoover.
