The Eastern Pulaski Community School Corporation’s 2020 budget was adopted by the school board Thursday.
It totals more than $14.3 million, with almost $7.7 million of that being the Education Fund and over $4.4 million being the Operations Fund. But Interim Superintendent Dr. Gib Crimmins has warned that at least $500,000 of Rainy Day funds will have to be used to keep the budget balanced.
Board members also approved the capital projects and bus replacement plans. Crimmins said that for the most part, each bus will be replaced every 12 years. Eastern Pulaski’s 2020 budget now goes to the Indiana Department of Local Government Finance for final approval.
