The Culver Community High School football team is getting a financial boost from the local community. A $500 donation was officially accepted during Monday’s school board meeting, according to Superintendent Karen Shuman.
“We want to thank the Culver Lions Club for giving us a donation for the high school football team, as they go off into sectional playoffs this weekend,” Shuman says.
In other business Monday, Shuman says the school board approved the addition of Financial Partners of Knox as a new 403(b) vendor for school staff.
