North Judson-Wayne Township Fire Chief Reports Busiest Year in FD History

With more than 300 calls so far this year, the North Judson-Wayne Township Fire Department has kept historically busy in 2019, according to Fire Chief Joe Leszek.

Chief Leszek shared, “Right now we’re at 310 runs so it has been the busiest year in North Judson Fire Department history.

During his report at Monday’s Town Council meeting, said he would have a breakdown of the calls available for members during their first meeting in December. He mentioned that the majority have been medical calls.

Town Council President John Rowe commented that they also saw a historically high number of runs last year. Chief Leszek confirmed that was the case and stated that they seem to get more each year.
