With Eastern Pulaski’s new superintendent set to take over, the school corporation is saying goodbye to its interim superintendent. Last week’s school board meeting was the final one for Dr. Gib Crimmins.
“Dara Chezem will be starting in January,” Crimmins says, “and it’s been a fun experience and a good community to work with.” Crimmins has been temporarily leading the school corporation since Dan Foster’s resignation in June.
Crimmins is one of the founders of Administrator Assistance, a company that provides various services to school corporations, such as interim superintendents and help with budgets and superintendent searches. He’s a retired superintendent of the Tri-County School Corporation, with 34 years of education experience.
