Well rehabilitation is currently underway in the City of Knox. Back in September, the board of works agreed to let well two be cleaned and refurbished. At the time, Water Superintendent Tim Lindewald said it was running about 150 to 200 gallons per minute under par, causing more wear and tear.
During last week’s meeting, it was reported that crews had already come back and done the second scoping to see how well it was cleaned. No projected completion date was announced.
