All the same holidays were included in next year’s schedule. It was noted that if a holiday falls on a Saturday then it will generally be observed the Friday beforehand and if it falls on a Sunday then it will be observed the following Monday.
The only exception to this rule will be Independence Day in 2020 which falls on a Saturday and will be observed the following Monday to allow officials to prepare for the Family Fun Day and Fireworks Display event.
City employees will have January 1st off for New Year’s Day and January 20th off for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. In February, employees will have the 17th off for President’s Day.
