Knox Driver Involved in Plymouth School Bus Accident on SR 17

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department has released additional details about an accident involving a Plymouth Community School Corporation bus that occurred Thursday afternoon.

According to the crash release, shortly before 4 p.m. on December 19th, a Plymouth School Corporation bus on its regular route had stopped to let children off on SR 17, north of SR 8.

A 1997 Chevy Cavalier being driven by 33-year-old Ronald Guy, of Knox, reportedly failed to stop and collided with the rear of the bus. Guy was transported to Plymouth Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No passengers on the school bus were injured.

Plymouth school officials released a statement after the incident occurred, reminding motorists to be aware of their surroundings, especially during times when students are traveling to and from school.
