A Winamac native has officially been named the superintendent of Logansport State Hospital. The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration announced last month that Greg Grostefon has been given the superintendent’s position, after having served as interim superintendent since April of 2018.
The FSSA says Grostefon has lived in Logansport since 1979. His first full-time job was as a special attendant at the hospital’s original Isaac Ray Unit, before he graduated from Ball State and went on to a 30-year career in public education.
