Knox City Police say five children broke into a building and caused thousands of dollars worth of damage over the weekend. Officers say they were called to the area of Lake and Shield streets Saturday, following reports of people on the rooftops.
Three juveniles were reportedly located and taken into custody, before they were released to their parents later that evening. After further investigation, police say they determined that a total of five juveniles were involved. A criminal case has been submitted to the Starke County Prosecutor’s Office.
