Some local school corporations are among the recipients of this year’s Digital Learning-Community Advisory Grant from the Indiana Department of Education. Triton received $50,000. South Central got $45,090, and Oregon-Davis was awarded $40,600.
The Department of Education says this year’s grant continued to focus on integrating technology into the classroom, while also expanding to include a focus on building community partnerships. A big goal is to connect academic concepts to real-life applications.
The IDOE says a total of $2.5 million was awarded to 52 school districts in this year’s grant cycle.
