State Representative Jim Pressel will be in Knox tomorrow to give residents an update on this year’s legislative session. The public meeting will be held from 11:00 a.m. to noon at the Henry F. Schricker Public Library in Knox.
Pressel notes that this year’s session has now passed the halfway point. “So the Senate bills are all moved to the House, and the House bills have moved to the Senate, and I think it’s pretty important that you kind of bring that message home and talk about what’s going on at the Statehouse so that everybody has an opportunity to participate in the conversation,” he says. “So I look forward to seeing lots of people in Starke County and continue the discussion and give me some feedback.”
Pressel is expected to discuss some of the session’s top issues, along with legislation that he’s working on.
