A report of an armed robbery at Knox gas station Thursday led to three women being detained at the Starke County Justice Center. Knox City Police say they got a report of a “holdup alarm” at Next Door Foods at 1 North Heaton Street around 12:40 p.m. Dispatchers told officers that there was a female with a firearm.
Once they got there, officers say they detained three women. They’re being held at the Starke County Justice Center while awaiting charges, according to police. A Knox detective was called to the scene, and the case remains under investigation.
