Eastern Pulaski students who’ve fallen behind in their lunch payments will get some help, thanks to some donations accepted by the school board Monday.
Corporation Treasurer Angie Anspach explained that three local attorneys recently teamed up for a “Make a Lawyer Day” fundraiser. It brought in $2,255 to go toward lunch accounts with negative balances, through Eastern Pulaski’s Helping Hands fund. Meanwhile, Kristy and Wyatt Showley donated $150 toward lunch balances at the elementary school. Anspach added that all student lunch accounts were in the positive, following Monday’s donations.
The Eastern Pulaski School Board also accepted a donation of business and competency-based books for the school library from BraunAbility.
