The North Judson-San Pierre School Corporation is officially part of the Starke Taskforce for Overdose Prevention. Superintendent Dr. Annette Zupin says the school board approved a memorandum of understanding with Porter-Starke Services last week, allowing N.J.-S.P. to join the consortium. Zupin says she’ll serve as the school corporation’s representative and bring ideas back to the schools.
The group is made up of government officials, medical professionals, law enforcement, and faith leaders, among others. The Knox and Oregon-Davis school corporations are already listed as members on the STOP website.
