North Judson-San Pierre to Pay Support Staff during School Closure

The North Judson-San Pierre School Corporation will continue to pay its support staff while regular classes are canceled. Employees will get paid the regular amount during the emergency closure, according to Superintendent Dr. Annette Zupin.

The school board passed a resolution Tuesday giving the superintendent the authority to “take any necessary action to ensure the safety and well-being of the school community.” Zupin says the temporary changes are only in effect through the end of the school year and are not a formal policy adjustment.

Similar measures were taken by the Knox and Oregon-Davis school boards on Monday.
