Those driving through LaPorte will encounter lane closures on State Road 2 next week. The Indiana Department of Transportation says the right westbound lane will be closed between Boston and Madison streets, due to a telecommunications installation.
The lane closure is expected to start Monday morning at 9:00 and wrap up Friday afternoon at 3:00, but the work will depend on the weather.
