The Food Bank of Northern Indiana will distribute food in Hamlet tomorrow. A drive-through healthy mobile food distribution will take place from 10:00 a.m. to noon CDT at the James R. Hardesty Hamlet-Davis Township Fire Station and Community Center.
Households in need of food assistance will be able to get a box of fresh food items and dry goods free of charge. The food will be available on a first come, first served basis. The event is sponsored by the Hardesty Memorial Endowment Fund through the Starke County Community Foundation.
Meanwhile, the Food Bank of Northern Indiana will also hold its weekly distribution at Knox Elementary School this Friday from 10:00 a.m. to noon CDT.
