U.S. 421 will be closed south of Wanatah next week for railroad crossing repairs. INDOT says Norfolk Southern will be rebuilding its grade crossing between LaPorte County Roads 1350 South and 1400 South.
U.S. 421 is expected to close Monday and reopen Friday evening. INDOT’s official detour uses U.S. 30, State Road 39, and State Road 8.
