Pulaski County sheriff’s deputies were called to investigate a single-vehicle crash on County Road 1475 West near Medaryville last Saturday night. Officers say they don’t know who the driver was, but a pickup truck was apparently towing a fertilizer tank northbound.
The tank apparently left the roadway, though, and tipped over onto its side. That, in turn, lifted the truck’s rear axle off of the ground. The driver then left the scene, according to police, and it was later discovered by a third party.
The truck’s owner reportedly said the truck had been stolen, and the fertilizer tank wasn’t his. The tank was the only thing that was damaged, and no injuries were reported.
