Work is underway on the Norwayne Field splash pad. James Young told the rest of the North Judson Town Council Monday that the plumbers had begun excavating and planned to put the vault in this week, before laying out the plumbing for the fixtures.
Council members agreed to hire H&T Electrical Services at a total cost of just over $7,800. That will include the electrical installation for the splash pad as well as the planned restrooms, but the bulk of the cost will be to upgrade the electrical panel inside the park building.
H&T was the only electrician to submit a quote, although town officials said they did seek a second one.
