Pulaski County residents have a chance to take part in a community development session. David Terrell with Ball State University’s Indiana Communities Institute will lead a training event on Thursday, August 27 starting at 6:30 p.m. EDT. It’s part of the Community Foundation of Pulaski County’s Forward-Thinking Leadership Initiative.
The program, entitled “Why Community Development? Considerations for Change” is designed to offer “practical, usable takeaways” rooted in proven research, according to a community foundation press release.
The event is free, but those planning to attend are asked to register by August 20 to help with social distancing. You can reserve a seat by emailing the community foundation at info@cfopc.org. The program will be held at Bethel Bible Church on State Road 14 near Winamac.
