The Food Bank of Northern Indiana will distribute food in Knox this morning. A drive-through distribution will be held from 10:00 a.m. to noon CDT at the Knox United Methodist Church at 210 S. Shield Street, according to the food bank’s website. Items will be available for free on a first come, first served basis for up to 400 households in need of food assistance.
The Food Bank of Northern Indiana will return to Starke County next week. The Starke County Community Foundation’s Hardesty Memorial Endowment Fund is sponsoring a food distribution in Hamlet. It will take place Thursday, October 1 from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the James R. Hardesty Hamlet-Davis Township Fire Station and Community Center.
