Hamlet Town Council to Hold Hearings on 2021 Budget, Unsafe Garages Tonight

Hamlet residents will have a chance to weigh in on the town’s 2021 budget proposal tonight. A public hearing will be held during the town council meeting. The proposal calls for a total budget of just over $459,000, including a General Fund of more than $322,000.

In other business tonight, town officials are expected to hold hearings on unsafe garages at 200 West Davis Street and a lot on Railroad Street. Tonight’s Hamlet Town Council meeting will be held in Hamlet Town Hall, following the 6:30 p.m. park board meeting.
