Pulaski County Council to Hold Public Hearing on 2021 Budget Tonight

The Pulaski County Council will take comments on the proposed 2021 budget tonight. As advertised, the proposal calls for a total budget of almost $19 million, with a General Fund of over $8.2 million and a Highway Fund of almost $3.2 million.

In other business tonight, council members will also consider finalizing a $5,000 contribution to the Community Foundation of Pulaski County’s Forward Thinking Leadership Initiative. They agreed to chip in $5,000 in Riverboat Fund money back in May, but still have to finalize the additional appropriation.

The council will also consider budget transfer requests from the assessor’s and surveyor’s offices.

Tonight’s Pulaski County Council meeting starts at 7:00 EDT in the Pulaski County Highway Garage. It will also be streamed live on the Pulaski County, Indiana, Government Facebook page.
