Starke County voters have a chance to hear from a number of the candidates on November’s ballot tonight. WKVI is teaming up with the Starke County Chamber of Commerce and the Starke County Leader for a Meet the Candidates night.
State representatives Doug Gutwein and Jim Pressel and state senators Ed Charbonneau and Mike Bohacek are expected to take part, along with a representative for U.S. congressional candidate Pat Hackett. Both candidates for District 1 Starke County Commissioner are expected to be in attendance, along with the two candidates for county treasurer and several county council candidates.
Each candidate will get three minutes to speak, followed by questions from the public, as time allows. You can submit a question ahead of time by clicking here.
Tonight’s Starke County Meet the Candidates Night starts at 6:00 at the Nancy J. Dembowski Community Center in Knox. You can hear it live on K99.3.
