Knox School Board Finalizes Pay Raise, Contract Extension for Superintendent

The Knox School Board has officially extended Superintendent Dr. William Reichhart’s contract. The updated agreement raises Reichhart’s base salary to $111,500 a year, a $1,500 increase. It extends his employment through July of 2023.

The contract also includes a number of benefits. The board’s cost of health, vision, and dental insurance is going up to more than $27,000, although that number will depend on renewal rates in future years. The board will continue to contribute almost $19,000 to a tax sheltered annuity. Reichhart will still get 20 paid vacation days, 11 paid holidays, and 13 days for personal illness and personal leave each year.

Reichhart says the school board approved his updated contract during its September 21 meeting.
