Investing in the future of Pulaski County’s leadership was a five-month process for the county council.
During last month’s regular meeting, council members finalized their $5,000 contribution to the Community Foundation of Pulaski County’s Forward Thinking Leadership initiative by approving an additional appropriation out of the Riverboat Fund.
The community foundation first asked the council for money back in April. They agreed to a $5,000 contribution the following month, but the appropriation that allows that money to be spent wasn’t actually approved until September.
Last month, council members also approved a $100 budget transfer for the Surveyor’s Office.
