Efforts are underway to make the holiday season a little brighter for Pulaski County families in need of assistance. The Pulaski County Coordinated Local Assistance Program (CLASP) will soon be collecting items for its annual Toy Store Project.
The group says it’s looking for hats, mittens, new toys, games, children’s books, and holiday food items. Donations may be brought to the Pulaski County Human Services Building in Winamac from November 25 up until December 12, when they’ll be distributed.
Those in need of assistance are asked to turn in a CLASP form by Thursday, November 5. For more information or to volunteer to help, call Pulaski County Human Services at 574-946-6500. The program served a total of 326 children in 2019.
