One person was killed and three others were hurt in a two-vehicle crash on State Road 39 and Starke County Road 50 South Sunday morning. The Knox-Center Township and North Judson-Wayne Township fire departments were called to the intersection just before 5:30 a.m., according to the North Judson-Wayne Township Fire Department Facebook page. Three ambulances and two helicopters also responded.
North Judson-Wayne Township Fire Chief Joe Leszek confirms that there were three people injured and one person deceased. Their identities were not immediately available.
