The Oregon-Davis School Corporation’s 2021 budget was recently adopted by the school board. It totals just over $9.1 million, including an Education Fund of almost $3.6 million and an Operations Fund of more than $3.1 million. Almost $920,000 is budgeted out of the school corporation’s referendum revenues.
Board members also agreed to reduce several hundred thousand dollars of unused money out of this year’s budget, so it will be available to spend next year. In other business, the school board voted three-to-one to approve a $2,000 stipend for Mark Jensen for his work on the school corporation’s buses, with Kyle Hinds opposing.
