The North Judson Town Council will decide on a town employee health insurance plan for 2021 tonight. At the last meeting, Council President John Rowe was leaning toward switching to United Healthcare, but it wouldn’t offer coverage for out-of-network doctors.
“So we just need to figure out if we have any employees that have an issue with the United Healthcare, with being outside the network,” Rowe said. “That’s the only thing, really, we need to figure out. I think, other than that, that United Healthcare plan one, with the $750 deductible, is pretty good.”
Council members will also review proposals for the town’s property and liability insurance for 2021. Updates on the Highland Cemetery land survey and wastewater upgrades are also anticipated.
Tonight’s North Judson Town Council meeting starts at 6:30 at North Judson Town Hall.
