An ordinance regulating the placement of driveways will be discussed by the Knox City Council tonight. The proposal would require new driveways to be set back at least 12 feet from the adjoining property line and would also set spacing requirements based on the road’s speed limit. Approval from the planning administrator would be needed to install a driveway on a city street close to a highway.
Council members will also get an update from Lisa Dan with the Starke County Economic Development Foundation. Tonight’s Knox City Council meeting starts at 7:00 at the Nancy J. Dembowski Community Center.
