Pulaski County Eases COVID-19 Restrictions on Bars, Restaurants

The Pulaski County Health Department is easing its restrictions on bars and restaurants. Retail food establishments may now serve 50 customers at a time, up from 25, according to a Facebook post from the county’s Incident Management Team. The 10:00 p.m. curfew has also been lifted.

Bar seating will be allowed, but stools have to be spaced apart. Table seating is still limited to six people per table. Live bands are not allowed. Employees and customers must wear masks, except when they’re eating and drinking.

In an update to the Pulaski County Commissioners Tuesday, Incident Management Team Member Nathan Origer said the vaccination clinic set up at the Winamac Knights of Columbus is running smoothly. “The first two clinics were held on the 13th and 14th last week, and they vaccinated 150 people with the first doses,” Origer said. “They expect another 150 this week.”

The Indiana Department of Health reports that the total number of Pulaski County residents who’ve gotten their first dose was almost 700, as of Tuesday morning, while 88 are now fully vaccinated.

Under the state’s guidelines, eligible individuals may get the vaccine in a different county from where they live, as long as they live or work somewhere in Indiana.
