Efforts to add kayak launches along the Yellow River will continue to be discussed by the Starke County Park Board tonight. Board members will consider environmental permitting and get an update on the Destination Development Grant application.
The park board will also appoint representatives to a Veterans Memorial Maintenance Fund subcommittee. It will make recommendations about how to use the money generated by the permanent fund recently established with the Starke County Community Foundation.
Updates will also be given on the park board’s new website and grant funding for Bass Lake Beach improvements. Tonight’s Starke County Park Board meeting starts at 6:00 in Starke County Annex Building No. 1.
